Family Meeting is the seventh episode in the fifth season in the FX drama Better Things which was aired on April 4, 2022.
Synopsis[]
Sam calls a family meeting after she becomes fed up with her daughters constantly being on their phones. Sam takes their phones away and suggests they go a week without using them. Rich and Alan finally got back together. Frankie and her friends get ready to go out to a party. Sam still does not know about Max's abortion and while Max and Rich discuss it, Duke overhears their conservations. Rich strongly chastises Duke for vaping and confiscated her device. Frankie discovers that her friend Jay is gay, and he was hiding his gay identity from his parents. Sam was suspicious about Rich's conservation with Max, and found out about Max's abortion after Rich told her. Max comes home drunk and slept with Sam.
